The Big Crunch-er-oo
For snack time at school or as an afterschool snack at home, kids will love to munch and crunch this creative twist on stuffed celery!
What You’ll Need:
- celery stalks
- red peppers
- cream cheese (or peanut butter)
Start with trimming off the celery tops and bottoms. Wash and dry the stalks. Cut the stalks to 4-6 inches. Peel and wash 3-4 carrots. Wash and remove seeds from red peppers.
Cut some carrots into thin strips, others into circles. Cut some pepper rings, pepper strips, and other shapes from the peppers.
Use a knife to fill the celery with cream cheese and smooth it into each stalk.
Now add a dash of imagination! Use the carrot and pepper pieces to transform the stuffed celery into fabulous creations. Boats, buildings, bugs and more are waiting to be made and munched by kids who will eat their veggies like never before!
